How Is Phil Coulson Still Alive ??

When ABC announce that Clark Gregg would reprise his role in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, initially I thought, well this has to take place before the Avengers. Now with reports coming out with details of the show, it's quite the opposite. This show will pick up after the events in MARVELS Avengers. And that's fine and all, but that leaves every one else with one question in mind; How did Phil Coulson survive????

PLEASE NOTE: THE FOLLOWING WILL BE A SPOILER. If you want to wait this fall for the pilot to find out the answer, TURN AROUND NOW !!!

So as you all know, Agent Coulson's death motivated the team to assemble and save the planet from an alien invasion. So I did a little research, reading different explanations. In fact, some of the theories IGN gave was "Did Thor use some Asgardian magic? Did Tony Stark create a special arc reactor? Did Bruce Banner blast him with gamma radiation?"

Well, we can finally put all those theories to rest, the official reports reveal that Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), the ultimate super spy, faked Agent Coulson’s death on purpose to motivate The Avengers. Some S.H.I.E.L.D. members were in on it  but The Avengers were not. Their security clearance wasn’t high enough. Coulson was forced to hold his breath as part of the ruse and that’s a point of contention among his colleagues  After the fact, Fury moved him to a remote location until things died down, and then he was reinserted into duty at the time of the show.

So to chuck it up, he faked his death.

Now obviously theirs still some questions that need to be answered, but for now this is the explanation their going with and quite frankly, it makes sense.

  1. I called it in the movie theater when this happned "The medical group is on the way" Fury" They are already here... They called it" That made me think why would a medical group be dispatched when they already had one there? That means nobody else knew. So i knew right then that Fury faked it to get them on with the mission and for a purpose.
